Wow. The CH needs a giant chill pill. Reading over there makes me think that Clay has some entire career going on that I don't know about. Like
Clay's just making headlines all over the place and the AI/Adam-related ones are just a mere drop in the bucket of current headlines that feature Clay.
Ummm.....
And now Adam needs to apologize? For stating the obvious? Clay did get headlines because of what he said about Adam. And, I'm sorry to say, but I really don't think he got those headlines just because he's Clay Aiken. He got them, imo, because it was one 2nd place finisher commenting on the most recent 2nd place finisher, someone everyone was already talking about anyway. For once Clay managed to be relevant. Yay him. That he happened to be Clay Aiken just sweetened the pot. Thank the lord the CH has the CH. I'd hate to think of all of that unbridled self-righteousness tinged with conspiracy-laden drama just flying free.... |

Well this:
"I don't know why he said it but it sure did get him some headlines."Sounded a lot more "whatever" than this: "I have no idea, I don't know...but you know it's great, he's got some headlines now... glad I could help him out... "Being I didn't actually hear it for myself, I would prefer the first response rather than the second. The second response seems more catty...especially in writing...and ignoring it would have been the classier thing to do. And no Clay hasn't had a lot of headlines lately (except 30 Rock and ANTM), but he has been out there doing his thing for a long time. But for some reason when he does something stupid he get attention in spades, but when he really does do something relevant, such as a UNICEF trip, he is ignored. I can see why fans of Clay's are upset of the notion of that. And in just the same way that many of us were miffed at Clay for what he said about Adam right after the finale (BAD timing), they will turn mole hills into mountains because they need someone to blame that Clay's career isn't what they think it should be...so for today it will be Adam. I actually think it's funny and pathetic at the same time. But as a fan of both I say two wrongs don't make a right. Again, I hope Adam doesn't take it a step further and start bashing Clay like many celebs do. Adam has a lot ahead of him. He doesn't need to roll around with the pigs and neither does Clay. I think what Clay wrote last week was probably the meanest thing he's ever said about a fellow "professional". Obviously, he was bothered by something. If it becomes a regular occurence with him I'll be saying so long Clay...that would go for Adam too. I'm glad I don't read CH. Why do you all even go there? |

Fans are just afraid that this is the end for Clay professionally..fear can make peeps act crazy batshit.
IMO..Adams response sounded a lot like he thinks that Clay needs help b/c he's done for also~ just the right shit to make the claws come out for some. As for me..... |

I'm glad I don't read CH. Why do you all even go there? You know what?? That's a good question. I think I'm officially done with that place now. Claywhores are SO much better anyway. |

Here's the thing. Clay made his comments on his fan club blog which is restricted to paying members only. It's not public. Adam made his comments on a
radio station which is available to millions of listeners. Also, Clay's remarks were about one performance not about Adam. Adam, on the other hand, decided
to insult Clay on a personal level. The other thing is that even though he didn't have to because all he did was state an opinion that is shared by a lot
of people including Simon Cowell, Clay apologized. A person with class which obviously Adam isn't would have ignored the question or said something
noncommital like "Well, he has a right to his opinion" or even something snarky like "Gosh, imagine my concern!"

Yes, you read that right, we said an hour. With Justin Guarini. We can't wait to hear Clay Aiken's review. So Clay's bitchy and Adam's catty. Maybe they're on the same cycle. I really think they both just need spankings. If they could spank each other, so much the better. And if they could spank each other while Kris bear hugs Adam, well, then, yeah...that would be good too. ETA: I reiterate: SPANK IT OUT BITCHES!!!!

Reading over at the CH (why? it's the wtf factor that drags me in). All I have to say is that it's a damn good thing Adam didn't call a Clay Aiken
performance "contrived, awful, and slightly frightening." Heads would have fucking rolled....
I think Adam is within the boundaries for a response to Clay's remarks but also completely off-mark. I don't for one second think Clay was trying to ride Adam's coattails. Nope. In my mind, Clay was snappy about the fact that Adam even had coattails. He didn't wanna ride 'em - he wanted to wipe his big-ass shoes all over them. ETA: Is it wrong that I want Clay to respond now? Let's get it on!

I think I must be demented or something. Am I the only one in the entire Clay Nation that thinks this is funny as hell?

Oh no, honey!
This is some great entertainment. Gay men can be bitchier than mean girls, it seems. After reading the outrage at the HouseOfRighteousness, I realized something. This fandom has been desperately in need of a scapegoat and/or a group of bad fans who follow said scapegoat for awhile now. Since JP lost his power ages ago, and the fans who thought Clay was gay were proven right, the self-righteous bitches in this fandom have been floundering. What to do? Who to target? Who to hate? Where should we direct our OUTRAGE?!?!?!? Oh noezzzzzzzzz!!! Guess what, my fellow Glambert Girls ... it's us now. Mark my words: Adam Lambert fans will no longer be welcome in this fandom. We are are the new Gay Mafia.

If there were more to talk about with Clay's career this would be a blip on the radar, not the biggest thing that's happened in months. |
